Metis Art Panel Image

As odd as it might seem for a writer like myself to say, there are times when words just don't do it.  I could take  many thousands of the proverbial words to describe the concepts that are presented in the pages that follow and still not communicate what a single image can present. From the mid sixties to the late seventies I spent considerable time developing collage techniques in paper and video and over the last 10 years in digital imaging.  I apply those techniques here in the hope I can communicate those aspects of being and becoming Métis which are simply beyond words.

You will notice that the screen format in which the following collages are presented is as different from the text based sections of this site, as images are from words.  The collages are copyrighted, of course, and may not be used for other than personal viewing purposes without my express written permission.
