On a more positive note -- now that The Other Metis
is receiving over 75,000 hits per month I am happy to provide these businesses
with exposure to you -- at least on a trial basis. There is
a whole generation of Métis business people and entrepreneurs
who are ready and more than capable of launching their own businesses and
careers and I hope the Other Metis will be valuable to them.
I reserve the right to withdraw this service if it proves problematical
in any way.
This section will eventually include a comprehensive
set of links to other sites which feature Aboriginal businesses in general,
as distinct from businesses or services which are offered by Metis.
In cases where the business concerned has its own website,
a banner and link to that site will be provided. For those businesses
who intend to use this section as a kind of digital billboard, a larger
display may be offered. In still other cases only a brief listing,
link and email or snail mail information will be supplied. As long
as the service is free, the choice of how a given business is displayed
is my own.
